What he intended as a tactical advantage instead allowed the enemy forces to surround the party completely. Charau-ka warriors, boggard swampseers, and the mine's other defenders converged from all sides.

The violet dragon pillar at this very mine still pulses with power, its destruction potentially crucial to weakening the magical defenses protecting the cult's stronghold.
